No, Coaching and Psychology/Psychiatry differ in many levels.
- The Psychologist/ Psychiatrists support clients with past traumas and issues which have triggered self-destructive habits in the present, while Coaches partner with clients who want to reach a goal.
Note: Certified coaches are taught that it is inappropriate for them to attempt to help anyone with mental health problems and they are advised to refer such clients to psychologists or therapists. - In general Psychology works with unconscious mind to look at the past to solve the present, while Coaching works with conscious mind to define actions in the present to improve the future.
In form of a conversation the coach will help you to explore the present and design the future you want. It will enable you to achieve your goals and live your values.
The rates depend on the length and the frequency of the sessions. Clients have choice between fixed rate by session or monthly access plans.
